Terms of Service (TOS) Guidelines and Restrictions:

PLEASE NOTE:  listings should be for a specific item ONLY, and should not link to any commercial site, including personal or commercial selling sites.  The listing should be for a specific watch, a specific offer to sell, that can be completed immediately between a willing buyer and the listing seller.

Again, items listed here should be available for completion of transaction here, at the time of listing.

Limit 5 Ads per day - Do NOT re-list an item if original post still appears on the same page.
One watch per ad - Any ad with more than one watch will be deleted.
Both New & Used watches can be listed here - NIB, BNIB, LNIB, NOS, etc.
Item description - You must include an asking price, and please try to include exact brand, model, ref and cal # if available as well as accurate description of condition.
Text and photos used in listings - Text or photos clipped without permission or credit from other websites, articles, or forums should NOT be used and will be considered cause for deletion.
Range of items acceptable - Basically anything watch or timepiece related; fountain pens and other collectible writing instruments.  Do NOT list any items which are currently on auction on auction sites such as ebay.
Shilling - If you have your watch for sale in the CM, do not post pictures of it in our discussion forum.  Direct and indirect shilling is prohibited in any PuristS fora.
PLEASE CONTACT SELLER (OR WTB) BY SENDING A PM - please note that you will also receive an email from watchprosite to your registered PuristSPro email account in the case a seller/buyer posts a comment/question to your ad.

Links to other websites:  Like any site, we are strongly against shilling of any kind, on our site to other sites, or on other sites to ours.  Here shilling is defined as any posts, links, or references whose PRIMARY purpose is to direct traffic to another site.  This includes links that are shills, but masquerading as informational references.

April 30, 2004:   ThePuristS.com and PuristSPro.com will no longer allow links or references of any type or reason to sites which as a matter of blanket site policy do not allow links to ThePuristS.com .  Posts that include links, references or shills for such sites will be edited or deleted, with or without notification.
The golden rule applies:  handle your listings and transactions as you would want, if you were on the other side of the transaction.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the removal of the offending listing without prior notice, and may result in the suspension of listing privileges.
