Make it 38 mm in yellow gold, with rubber or leather, blue dial...and i will seriously consider it.

GP 38 mm rose gold was already done in 2018 ...

GP will make all kinds of things when asked.

Seahawk 3 in yellow gold with matching bracelet to send a message to the crown but I guess not this year then! Joke aside 42 on gold is probably a bit too much, I would prefer they take inspiration from VC or PF.

And the blue dial looks like the regular blue dial from the 42 mm in steel. Only with a single bridge now instead of “1791”

The marketing-speak is utterly dumb, and a turn-off. As to the Lauretos in full gold, why not?

...don't get me wrong, it's a good-looking watch. But most manufacturers are stuck.

GP needs to invest some money into some real innovations with movements, case and bracelets. They just keep on rehashing old stuff masked as new. All we see today was already done in 2017. Dial color changes or mix and match metals from one model to anoth... 

One thing Arnault does well is, taking care of margin issues…

Watch in “bundling” with authorized dealers. Want a patek? Buy other sacrifice watches first. We have seen many ADs in asia doing this.

this “new” release is not glorious but simply uninspired. Sorry for the hard words… 🙏 I am waiting for a new Seahawk, a new Vintage 45 edition, a new WT. Still waiting and waiting and waiting.

I can still remember the first time I visited their watch factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds. That must have been 25 years ago. I saw how every single link of the bracelet was milled from a single piece of steel. The bracelet was unfortunately not adjustable in... 

...might lie well with flashy gold, although 42 is way too much. 38mm was widely appraised (same as 36mm for Piaget Polo...), too bad they didn't go this route. Also, who wrote that text? GPT? I love GP, as anyone here, but I hope they fight better next t...

As someone who likes marketing done well, and I like to think I appreciate marketing done well - I just find this really appallingly bad. I will say however, that it is hard to find a lot of interesting adjectives to describe a very "mundane" new release....
